Abstract

considering the climatic, political, social and environmental changes that occur on a global scale, the present work seeks to demonstrate theoretical aspects about such changes and to relate them to Covid-19, as well as to demonstrate how the pandemic affects social life. To this end, Hartmut Rosa's idea of acceleration will be used as a basis in order to demonstrate the current context from his sociological analysis of structural changes. Still, it is demonstrated how social inequalities become more accentuated in this context, making resonant relationships more difficult. To carry out this work, Rosa's bibliographies and related works are used to allow a deeper discussion.
