The present study will analyze how the war on drugs is the legitimizer of the civil war in Brazil. In order to understand the debate, the beginning of the criminalization of illicit toxics in the country will be approached and later related to the Agambenian theory, mainly with concepts such as naked life, state of exception and stasis. The objective of this work is to demonstrate how this conflict legitimizes authoritarian measures to enter the legal system, thus removing constitutional guarantees from citizens, without having to suspend the Constitution. In view of this, the problem question is: to what extent does the war on drugs present itself as Brazilian stasis? In conclusion, the hypothesis raised, that is, that the war on drugs will become a paradigm of government in Brazil, will be confirmed.
