This article is a critical review of Daniel Everett’s work “Charles Sanders Peirce: o Juggernaut Americano”, published by EDUPE (Recife, 2024) and translated by Aleph Cedrim Barbalho, Carlos André Silva de Moura e Danilo Vaz-Curado R. M. Costa. We aim to reconstruct some of the main contributions of peircean philosophy by providing a brief overview of Everett’s exposition in his book. We outline the key themes covered in its chapters, namely: pragmatism, Peirce’s philosophical roots and influences, his phenomenology, his semiotics, and a biographical presentation of the philosopher. Thus, Everett offers us a masterful introduction to Peirce’s thought and a well-deserved revival of his philosophical project.
