Foucault beyond Foucault, by Sandro Chignola, seeks to analyze, in six texts, which according to the author can be autonomously and independently analyzed, the Foucault’s thinking, facing it as an arsenal for the concretization of multiples interrogations about the western political thought. The presente work is announcedd as a review of the work “Foucault beyond Foucault: for a philosophy policy” (Porto Alegre: Criação Humana, 2020) written by Sandro Chignola, thus it is worth mentioning that the aim of the review isn’t to directly present the thinking of the french thinker, but to expose, in a critical way, the approach through which Chignola traverses and crosses the philosopher’s thought. The trajectory of the work focuses especially from the debates that arise after the publication of the last courses lectured by Foucault, at the Collège de France, and which lead his thinking to a privileged level. The Chignola’s propose, based on that, was to exhibit a policy of philosophy in its statute of permanent intervention today
